Actis buys "Taastrup Audit" as per September 1st 2011. The clients in both firms will get even more proactive and value creating counselling.

Taastrup Audit has been well run for many years, most recently by the certified public accountant Jørgen Oestergaard. Jørgen is 62, and now is the time for a generational change, where customers are ensured a safe and long-term transition period. Both Jorgen Oestergaard and Lisbeth Nielsen, will henceforth be auditors in Actis Accountants a/s.

Already, July 11th, the two auditing companies share address from Vestre Gade 18 in Brondby, and the legal merger is September 1st 2011.

"We are delighted to have found a collaboration with one of the most skilled auditors in the country, because it will mean that our loyal customers will still get proactive advice that will help them", explains Jorgen Oestergaard. "Simultaneous we are now introducing many new IT systems and methods that can streamline our processes, and that means we can continue to be competitive on price," continues Lisbeth Nielsen.

Telephone number +45 70 10 70 16 will be implemented as the new phone, exploiting the efficiency and mobility in IP telephony, but customers and partners will also be able to contact the auditors at existing telephones in a long transition period.

Lisbeth Nielsen is doing an MSc. towards certified public accountant, and Jorgen Oestergaard is already a CPA.

Bjarne Aalbaek has a history in PwC and Baker Tilly, and operate simultaneously Academic Division ltd., which is an expert company for other accounting firms, and also teaches its auditors at their training in auditing, accounting and tax.
